My favorite series: GAME OF THRONES
Created by David Benioff and DB Weiss, produced by HBO and based on the saga "A Song of Ice and Fire" written by George R. R Martin, it recounts the experiences of a group of characters from different noble houses in the fictional continent of Westeros to have control of the Iron Throne and rule the seven kingdoms that make up the territory. The cast is extensive, but focuses on Eddard Stark (Sean Bean), Catelyn Tully (Michelle Fairley), Jon Snow (Kit Harington), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), Arya Stark (Maisie Williams), Bran Stark (Isaac Hempstead- Wright), Robb Stark (Richard Madden), Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey), Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau), Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage), Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) and Ser Jorah Mormont (Iain Glen).
Without a doubt, a series that marked a before and after in my life for its setting, good script, an incredible soundtrack composed by Ramin Djawadi, ingenious special effects and memorable characters was Game of Thrones. It is true that the last seasons have been declining since there were no books as a source of guidance (fascinating books that I recommend reading), but it is worth entering a world so well built, full of intrigue and uncertainty after the phrase "the winter is coming ".
Trailer:
I read on internet that GOT's books are tons better than his series as you posted, but I need to find the first book name.
ReplyDeleteThe saga contains these books in order:
Delete1- A game of Thrones
2- A clash of kings
3- A storm of swords
4- A feast for crows
5- A dance with dragons
There are also other books that are part of the world of the saga and that are worth reading.
At first, all the people talked about this series, but popular opinion changed a lot with the end.
ReplyDeleteYes, there were very divided opinions after the end. It took many months for the public to lower the torches against the directors of the series hahaha Although now there is still waiting for the prequel "House of the Dragon" for 2022.
